Steel Magnolias of Louisiana is hosting its EmpowerHER Girl Empowerment Day on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Lafayette Renaissance Charter High School.

 

Our goal is to educate, empower and engage 100 girls, ages 8-18 years old, by connecting them to local women leaders who will serve as expert speakers on important topics relevant to them. Topics will include the importance of self-care and confidence.  Attendees will learn valuable financial literacy tips, the importance of education and other important life lessons.

 

Simply put, it will be an opportunity to network with like-minded girls, have FUN and be in a safe space where girls can use their voices, understand their worth and obtain invaluable information needed to be successful in life.

 

This is a FREE EVENT!  Each participant will receive a T-shirt, bag, journal, etc.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
